Do you know Korean tteokbokki?
Introducing the Tteokbokki recipe that makes you feel as if you are at a snack bar.
[Snack House Tteokbokki] 1 serving
[ ingredient ]
Wheat rice cake (soft type that does not spread well)
green onion
garlic
peperoncino or cheongyang pepper
[seasoning]
sugar
chili pepper paste
Anchovy fish sauce
beef broth powder
MSG
soy sauce
water
[ how to make ]
1. Wash 1 serving of rice cake in water and prepare long green onion pieces.
2. Mix 1.5 spoons of sugar, less than half a spoonful of dashi, a pinch of Miwon, 1 spoon of soy sauce, 1 spoon of anchovy sauce, a little red pepper paste, and 2 cups of water with a paper cup. Put it in the washed rice cake.
3. Sprinkle pepper only twice and add 4 garlic cloves.
4. Boil over high heat for 5 minutes. When the rice cakes are swollen and the garlic is cooked, add the green onion and pepperoncino (or Cheongyang pepper).
5. Reduce to mediumlow heat and simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes.
6. Check the seasoning and if the seasoning is right, enjoy it.
Tip
If you want it sweeter: add more oligosaccharides or sugar
If you want to make it saltier: add beef broth powder
If you want it spicier: add more pepperoncino or green chillies
If it's just right: add half a cup more water to the paper cup
