What is the earliest you've ever woken up to eat a meal? Has there ever been a time where you went without sleep JUST so that you could have breakfast a little more early?

In Bangaluru, India, there are an abundance of restaurants cooking 24 hours a day, but at Mani Dum Biriyani, the place we are visiting today, they have something that's even more unique. Their traditional recipe process starts in the very early hours of the morning, but the truly incredible thing about THIS restaurant's hours are the fact that they could SELL OUT of their signature dish even before the sun is up!*

We're not leaving anything to chance, we want to witness all the action THIS is the 4AM Biriyani adventure, and its bound to be an amazing day of life! Thank you for joining us!

So, I'm setting my alarm for 2:30am. We're meeting downstairs in the hotel lobby at 3:15am, and we have to drive out to Hoskote, about 45 more minutes outside Bangaluru. We are doing this to get the complete and fullon feel of the beginning middle and end stages of this glorious Biriyani cooking process. We are meeting up with local legend and food finding sensation Kripal Amanna, and we have his word as guarantee that this ultraearly morning biriyani pilgrimage will be more than worth our trouble.

*This restaurant opens just 3 days a week. We visited on a Friday, a day when they "only" serve about 3,0004,000 plates. If you visit on a Sunday however, there's a chance you could see 10,000 plates served, and (as we heard from a few commenters) if you are running late, there's a chance that at 6am you might even find the place already all sold out.

LOCATION:
You can find Mani Dum Biriyani in the town of Hoskote using the link here, on Google Maps.
