the girl on the video noted: "Alright, let me explain some things to a few people... Hi, I'm the woman in the video, obviously. We went to our local pet store to get our current cat a couple of items, I asked if I could snuggle the cat in the back because I know it is good for animals that are up for adoption to have human interaction. We were informed that this cat is NOT good with other cats or children, I have a toddler and we also have a senior cat who is 19 years old, she constantly strives for attention and love, her brother just passed away a couple of years ago and she most likely will get sick from depression and die, we can't have that. Now in the video I am FULLY aware we can't have that cat, simply a bittersweet moment. We have our own cat at home that needs us. Now, my fiancé is getting terrible messages stating he "wouldn't let me keep the cat" which is NOT true, again we BOTH knew we couldn't keep him. That being said I'd really appreciate it if people would take down their hateful comments in regards to my loved one. Also, after posting this video to our local neighborhood page, this cat is INDEED now being adopted by a loving family. "
