It's finally here! Raylar Engineering sent me a prototype intake manifold for the 8.1 Gen VII big block chevy about a year ago, and now we have the VERY FIRST production version! We're putting together a 535 cubic inch Gen VII big block based on the 8.1 vortec, and there will be no original factory parts left inside the big block, and the intake manifold was the last piece of the puzzle.

Normally, on an 8.1 vortec you can modify the stock intake manifold internally, or switch to a carbureted style intake, but for my 535 cubic inch fire breathing monster, I wanted an intake that would really flow some CFM while still being a multi port injected style of intake with a forward facing throttle body. Raylar Engineering has been in development of this intake for some time now, and they sent me the 3D printed prototype manifold about a year ago, but this is the final version, freshly cast in Aluminum and ready to go on my fire breathing solid roller big block.
