I want to build safety into the decisions I make, so selecting the optimally sized equipment that is needed to accomplish the work safely is very important. Picking equipment that is designed and rated for what you need is critical for both safety and maintenance.
Knowing the thought process behind equipment selection helps to optimize money resources, too. Get what you need, not necessarily what you want. Bigger isn't always better when it comes to business. Bigger can be a waste of resources.
