The robbery occurred on Easter Sunday and involved the culprits cracking the building's vault by accessing it through the roof, reportedly evading a hightech alarm system. Reports say this meticulously executed theft, is the work of seasoned thieves. The building's staff noticed the cash missing the following day when the vault was opened. The crime follows multiple such incidents in LA, with the city previously experiencing a $18.9 million cash heist from an armoured depot in 1997.
