While last weeks storm was stunningly beautiful, we are hoping that was winter’s last hoorah. Luckily, before the storm hit, we managed to get started on building these posts. So by the time the storm was over, Ted was off of his stretch of work, operation snow removal was in full swing and we felt good about having a head start on building these posts.
This entire treehouse project has been a buildaswego situation, which means no blueprints, no master plan, and of course lots of “hindsight is 20/20” moments.
We’re still dedicated to making this as budget friendly as possible, too. But with the amount of work we put into this weeks project of building our own deck railing posts was the work worth saving what we did? Totally rhetorical because im pretty sure I already know the answer.
However, we’re still so glad we did it because we L V E how they turned out and they look so much better than some twisted lumber posts from Menards!
