There have been nine different James Bond actors since the franchise began in 1962 with the film Dr. No. The most recent James Bond actor, Daniel Craig, has reigned since 2005 and starred in seven different films as the iconic spy. Of course, there have been countless actors who have auditioned for this coveted role over the decades, even though there can only be one true James Bond actor at a time. In today's video, we're going to take a look at the many actors who tried (and failed) to secure the role for themselves. Sometimes the actors weren't chosen because they demanded higher pay than the producers were willing to provide, but some of the reasons the actors weren't chosen were absolutely ridiculous.
