The friendships formed as you become a pilot will last a lifetime. Today, I want to share with you two of the most important people in my journey... Rod & Haley. Aviation really is about who you know, not what you know! This video is a throwback to the style and type of videos we first produced together, which is how this channel got started!

I was on a family trip to the Gulf Coast as a student pilot and wanted to fly over the beach for the first time. I met a local flight instructor, Rod, who was my CFI for the flight. After that short flight, we became friends and the rest is history! Pure luck!
