This is a steam turbine of a coalfired power plant with a capacity of 600MW, the disassembly process includes the following basic steps:
North of scaffolding around turbine
Remove the link bolt
Using a 100 ton crane to dismantle details such as the main steam manifold, turbine protection cover, turbine housing, impeller blades, static blades, lift off the turbine shaft.
After removing the components for inspection, PT finds cracks, uses sand to clean the surface of the details, replaces damaged parts.
_ After the maintenance process, install the turbine back to the way it was before
