The bestselling author of The Master and His Emissary (Yale, 2010) and the twovolume work The Matter with Things (Perspectiva Press, 2021), McGilchrist researches, teaches, and lectures widely on brain hemisphere theory as a lens for understanding the development of Western culture over the last few centuries.
