Welcome to the Volkswagen (Golf) GTI Autobahn. Dubbed the Mark 8, or Mk8, this model has amped up the power over the Mk7. However, it has done away with most, if not all of the physical controls. To many including myself, this has the potential to be a major dealbreaker. However, the Mk8 is one of the funnest small cars I have ever driven, so join me as I check out the latest iteration of the GTI before the facelift debuts next year!
