If you're a beginner UX designer, I highly encourage you to adopt critical thinking about apps, always think beyond the interface, and try to understand UX patterns and behaviors that make an app or a product good (or bad).
There are always pros and cons, and a good UX designer knows how to find inspiration even in terrible apps
