In this video, I explored the ultimate Japanese thrift store in order to find cheap anime and vintage figures.
If you are looking for cheap figures and toys in Tokyo, there are usually 3 places you can go to: Ikebukuro, Akihabara and Nakano Broadway. However, Nakano Broadway has by far the cheapest figures. The building consists of 4 floors and more than 100 stores in one place.
On top of that, if you can't find any anime figures that you like, you can always discover other goods such as vintage clothes, japanese books, marvel figures, video games, music and many others.

For example, I found some unopened One Piece figures for less than $5!
And if you are just in Tokyo for a couples days and you don't want to carry the boxes with you, it's possible to buy anime and vintage figures without the boxes. Nakano Broadway is the ultimate paradise for otaku in search of Japanese goods.
