She has to have the chance to be found by her family. I hope we can find a microchip so her family can be located. The San Diego Humane Society was so gracious in helping us take care of her. They help so many animals on a regular bases. In fact right now they are looking for fosters for dogs, cats and more. If you want to foster like I do apply here: http://www.sdhumane.org/foster

In the last video I found this sweet dog in a ditch and she was really hungry. Wait until you see how happy she is to eat some of chicken we baked! She was running loose and we are going to do everything we can to try and find this dogs family. She didn't have a dog collar and dog tag on but I am hoping she has a dog microchip we can scan for information on who her family is. Thousands of dogs escape from their yards or families and it's important as a community to come together to help them find their way back home. I know it's sometimes natural to assume the dog has been abandoned or no one loved her but it could just be that she is an escape artist and has been running around for a few days getting dirty and hungry. We are going to take her to the vet or the San Diego Humane Society so they can help us scan the microchip and we can see if we can locate her family. Fingers crossed there is someone out there that is searching for her! We were calling her ditch dog but are now calling her DeeDee.
