Yahoo Finance, Daily Mail and even some Chinese news outlets have been playing telephone game from the original source, the MarketWatch video on my frugality and money saving tips on how I paid off all of my student loans and bought a condo with my then boyfriend now husband. Naturally, they didn't exactly fact check or even go to the source (me) to validate the facts and even provide much needed context. I didn't think I would be making this video, but this is to set the record straight on these articles and any future articles to come. This has been very eye opening on how news outlets and social media actually run and hope everyone will stay being cautious consumers of media! I took classes in journalism and even ran the school newspaper back in high school and this was NOT journalism.
