The TRUTH About REJECTION as a Real Estate Agent

Rejection is a part of being a real estate agent specially when you are making calls to expired and for sale by owners. Not all rejection is bad though, in this video I share my story calling an expired that was rude and actually ended up hiring me to list his property. You can not let your emotions get the best of you and you can not take things personal over the phone.

What I cover:
Embracing rejection is just part of the game in real estate. Whether clients choose someone else or I encounter tough reactions during phone calls, it's all a learning experience.

Building a resilient mindset has been key for me. Knowing that each rejection is just a step closer to a successful deal helps me stay positive and focused on the bigger picture.

I've found that consistent and proactive communication is the secret sauce. Starting with at least 10 daily conversations sets the groundwork to discover clients who genuinely need my help.

Personally, I made it a mission to dial 30 numbers every day early in my real estate journey. It was all about setting at least one appointment daily. It might be different for everyone, but for me, being fulltime in this, it made sense.

One memorable success came from a seemingly upset client on the phone. Turned out, he had health concerns, and by asking the right questions, I not only helped him sell but also represented both the buyer and seller in the deal. It's a reminder that, in this business, resilience and genuine curiosity can turn things around, even after a string of tough calls.
