The short film Milk Teeth tells the tale of a supernatural being that lives under the sink that exchanges money for the pearly whites in people's mouths. We’re taught that a tooth has a lot of value in life. It can be a sign of wealth, status, and health. A smile can give you a lot of information about a person based on what society tells us to think. Nowadays, beauty standards, celebrity influence, and cosmetic procedures have given rise to a new trend of an unattainable Instagram filter face. This movie made me think about our reality – and I noticed influencers on TikTok are starting to get really expensive dental work that involves veneers and crowns. Surprisingly it doesn't always go smoothly just like in the movie #edvasian
