Simon and Garfunkel are arguably one of music’s most successful folkrock duos. They were one of the bestselling groups of the 1960s and have written some of music’s most memorable songs like “The Sound of Silence,” “Mrs. Robinson,” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”

Unfortunately, hit singles are not the only thing that Simon and Garfunkel are known for. The duo is also known for their rocky relationship, artistic disagreements, and countless breakups. They have won 10 Grammy Awards, headlined 1981’s The Concert in Central Park, and are in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame, but Simon and Garfunkel's career and life have had their fair share of turmoil and tragedy.
