So here’s a fun story (that the Jedi wouldn’t tell you). I’m a fan of DuduFilm’s work and have been wanting to do a video in that style for a while. Recently, they did one called Darth Sidious – Cleansing Fire and I loved the Audiomachine song Can’t Go Back used in it. My idea was a Palpatinecentered video that would have been called King of the Beasts from the line that appears in the Darth Plagueis novel. I actually finished editing the almostthreeminute video and them start to think that the last half or so would be better as more of a Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wisethemed video.

I go back to the drawing board and decide to do this video. It’s considerably more ambitious, but I also end up cannibalizing significant parts of that first video into this one. The music is different, but I used a lot of the same quotes with the same video clips. That makes this the first video I’ve ever done that actually has a prototype that will never see the light of day.

Maybe I’ll eventually go back and do a proper version of the King of the Beasts video. There were some good parts that just didn’t fit the theme of this one. Still, I can’t complain too much. I rather did like how this came out.
