In this video, I have discussed the three most common tooth numbering system.

The Plamer system, The FDI system, and The Universal system.
The Palmer system uses five alphabets (A,B,C,D,E) to name their primary teeth and then 8 digits, (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) to name their permanent teeth. While there is a sign that differentiates between the individual tooth ( I cannot draw it here because of the limited keyboard notation).
The Universal numbering system uses different alphabets for each primary teeth and a different number to name the permanent teeth. he naming starts from right maxillary, goes to left maxillary, then down to left mandibular then to right mandibular.
The FDI system has a twodigit number for both primary and permanent teeth. The first digit signifies both, the jaw the quadrant and also the whether the tooth is primary or permanent. While the second digit signifies the tooth type.
