The Florida Gators faced the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2008 SEC Championship game. With both rosters full of future NFL stars this game did not disappoint. Led by QB Tim Tebow, the Gators were able to come out on top of the Tide. Tebow threw a touchdown pass to Riley Cooper late in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Tim Tebow finished the game going 1422 for 216 yards and three touchdowns. In addition he had 17 carries for 57 yards.
