Jurassic Park: The Ride is a waterbased attraction based on the Steven Spielberg film Jurassic Park and Michael Crichton’s novel on which the film is based. The attraction is located at Universal Studios Hollywood and opened on June 21st, 1996. In this video we take a look at the research and development of the attraction as the film was still in production, the attraction itself and its success, and its eventual closure for an overhaul to an attraction based off of Jurassic World.
