The Thai cat, or traditional Siamese cat, originates from Thailand. While it is an ancient breed, it was recently renamed, it has a similar, but distinct appearance to the modern, western Siamese.

Its main differences lie in its rounded shapes, with a more compact body, elongated eyes, and shorter tail than the modern Siamese, but with a rounded tip and thicker thickness.

It stands out for being a sociable, cheerful and very affectionate cat, which demands a lot of attention from its owners . As well as being very active and a great meower, especially in heat.
