Our baby in heaven You touched our lives immensely during the short yet sweet time you were growing with us. We treasure & mourn the daydreams of what our life would of looked like together. We are so grateful to God for covering us with an indescribable softness during this terrible time. We are so grateful to our family & community who have celebrated & wept alongside us. The love of Jesus has been so tangibly felt through the people who surround us.

At the beginning of the month, we experienced a missed miscarriage. We went in for our 10 week appointment & there was no heartbeat found. My body was holding on to our baby. I didn’t experience any symptoms of loss, so it was a complete shock. We have been working on mentally & physically healing ever since.

I am so grateful for my love, who despite his own pain, has endlessly showered me with tenderness & care. Throughout our 11 years together, nothing has been more intimate & brought us closer together.

To all the women that have gone through this before me, your stories, strength, & solace have provided comfort & inspiration. I’m in awe of you.
Spoken & unspoken, I know how painfully common this is.

We have immensely heavy hearts but are hopeful for the joy that is yet to come. To our first baby, we will adore you forever. Until we meet again.
