Hi! My name is Tashi and this is The Happy Meal Effect. As kids, those lucky enough to go to McDonalds and get a Happy Meal, remember the joy of receiving that meal and toy. Now as adults we still go back for big macs or double cheeseburgers.

The Happy Meal exposed us to the McDonalds offering from a young age, making it familiar and linking fond memories to their brand. This is the Happy Meal Effect. All Startups should be creating their own version of a Happy Meal, to get bite size products in front of customers so that when they "mature" as a business, they can purchase your full offering. A lesson in Entrepreneurship we learnt from McDonalds as kids, business advice where you least expected it!

Here is a bit about my failed startup I built and ran over 6 years...
As the former CEO and Cofounder of TwoSpace (an Australian startup launched with Optus that transformed hotels and restaurants into a network of flexible coworking spaces), Tashi's team connected over 10,000 users in Australasia through onsite wifi checkin technology and an engaging online community platform. TwoSpace hit a valuation of $10M before being acquired by a proptech company in December 2019 and ultimately was unwound.
