⚠ Correction: 13:11 | Cosmopolitan misidentified the person speaking about legislation to protect child influencers. It is California State Senator Steve Padilla (DSan Diego).

Millennial and Gen Z content creators have built massive platforms—and fortunes—from splashing their children’s lives all over social media. Journalist Fortesa Latifi spoke with parent influencers on both sides of the issue: those who no longer make content featuring their kids and those who refuse to stop (and even a former nanny to an influencer family). And she digs deep into the murky world of influencer finances in this multibillion dollar industry.
