What's the best way to learn instructional design theory?

A lot of people learn for free via books, YouTube videos, and podcasts.

But if you're not applying the theory to real projects, are you really learning it? Probably not in any meaningful way.

That’s where practice comes in!

In this video, I outline different project ideas that would be effective ways to learn how to apply ID theory to real projects. Whether you’re a newer ID or need to brush up on how you might use learning theory to make realworld decisions, give these practice projects a try!
