Unless you have unlimited funds and time or you're a professional backpacker, you probably don't get out as much as you'd like. I know that's the case for me and for a long time, I'd look back at my summers thinking how I wish I had been able to do more backpacking trips.

I think the vast majority of us fall into the category of "hobbyist" when it comes to backpacking, so we need to find creative ways to get out when we can which is why I wanted to offer up 3 simple tips on how you can get out there on more backpacking trips this year and every year.
