Of all the "Blist" or second tier of platformers during the PS2/GameCube/Xbox era, Tak may be the most fascinating: A game series developed in partnership with Nickelodeon, alongside plans for a tiein cartoon...but a series that ended BEFORE the cartoon could reach the airwaves. The Tak trilogy released as three very different kinds of game, all in the span of three short years, and then just disappeared. It's the product of a developer crunching across multiple licensed projects at once, a studio that was bought out by Nickelodeon's competitor Disney, ending the Tak saga before it had the chance to bloom.
