When it comes to detecting leaks in buried lines, the first step is to know where the line is. That's why we created the Pulse Generator the PG2. The PG2 sends a gentle but easily audible pulse through the fluid in the line, allowing contractors and technicians to identify where the line runs. They can mark the location of the line, and this allows for ease of finding the leak.

Once a line is mapped and traced, by using a pressure rig, the contractor can inject bursts of air and water into the line. This is going to create a boiling sound at the area of the leak. Using the Soil Probe by LeakTronics, a key piece of listening equipment available in the Irrigation Kit, the Plumbers Kit and the Pro Complete Pool Kit the user can hear the sound made at the area of the leak whether in metal pipes, plastic, PVC, Pex or whatever the pip[e may be.
