The OWON XDM1041 bench multimeter part 3 - performance and firmware upgrade

This is part 3 of my review of the OWON XDM1041, a relatively cheap (£110 or US$160) bench multimeter in an unusual form factor. In my quest to decide if the XDM1041 is worth the money, this video dives into the performance, which is a very dry subject, be warned!
A significant part of the video deals with some strange behaviour when measuring temperature. If that is not your thing, you may want to skip it.
Finally I managed to update the firmware of my XDM1041 with a new file received from OWON. This video shows how its done. Spoiler: I have not noticed any significant differences in the new firmware.
