On today's adventure we grab a legendary DC food item at probably the most legendary restaurant in Washington DC. It's the Chili Half Smoke from Ben's Chili Bowl and it is amazing. Ben's has several locations, and even was at Nats Park at some point, but there is nothing like going to the original location on UStreet. I've been going here for 20 years...but it has been open for like 70 years...and no matter how much the neighborhood changes, its a place that brings everyone together.

I'm sorry, but no matter what fancy restaurants shows up, I think this may be the best restaurant in DC. I even got to finally meet owner Virginia Ali and let her know how much I loved the restaurant! What a great day down on U Street.
