In this video, we share our journey of building a rabbit hutch, aimed at mimicking a natural habitat for our rabbits. Unfortunately, we faced a significant setback when heavy rains led to the flooding of the underground tunnels the rabbits built, resulting in the loss of a litter.

Learning from this, we implemented a drainage system and decided to elevate the tunnel system above ground to prevent future flooding. These steps were crucial in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our rabbits.

Despite the initial loss, we found a new litter in a shallow tunnel, unharmed by the water, which was a positive outcome amidst the challenges.

The experience taught us the importance of considering all environmental factors when creating habitats for animals. We hope our story can help others plan better and avoid similar mistakes, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for their animals.
