The Montparnasse Train Wreck

Follow
Alex the Historian

The train crew of #721 lost control when they rolled into the station too quickly, and the brakes didn't respond. The train wreck at Gare Montparnasse is a story that has become somewhat well known, especially due to the number of photographs captured of the aftermath.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a Universityeducated historian, Alex the Historian was a nickname I got while working at Disneyland as a tour guide. After 6 years of using it as a stage name for my channel, it would be detrimental to the channel to suddenly change the name.
