Digital real estate farming is the process of building an email database of homeowners in a specific neighborhood or condominium then adding value through consistently providing updated information about homes currently for sale, under contract, or that have sold in the neighborhood or condominium being farmed.

This real estate marketing strategy is not limited by just real estate email marketing but can include supplemental traditional real estate farming methods like door knocking, mailing postcards, and circle prospecting. Here are the basics of the process:

1) Collect email addresses for the neighborhood or condo and build a database for real estate email marketing.

2) Send monthly market updates on sales activity to the owners in the community. The real estate tips include sales details and upcoming events.

3) Add in traditional real estate marketing plan activities such as door knocking the neighborhood, circle prospecting, and traditional real estate postcard campaigns.
