In the spirit of Halloween, I embarked on a thrilling adventure to explore Singapore's Tanglin Halt estate. This historic public housing estate, located in Queenstown, is about to undergo a major transformation. The redevelopment plans include the addition of new amenities such as a hawker center, market, and polyclinic within a fresh development. This project is set to provide approximately 5,500 new flats, increasing housing options for residents.

However, what makes this exploration particularly intriguing is the recent viral buzz on the internet. Since the residents moved out, reports of paranormal activity and ghostly encounters within the unoccupied blocks have circulated widely. Singaporean YouTubers have ventured into this eerie environment, capturing doors mysteriously opening and closing on camera.

In my Halloweenthemed video, I ventured to witness these occurrences firsthand. Using special effects to enhance the experience, I embarked on a journey through this unoccupied estate to capture the spinechilling atmosphere. Unlike typical videos, this one doesn't feature any music.

As Tanglin Halt estate undergoes redevelopment, it's essential to preserve its rich history and heritage, ensuring that it continues to be a vibrant, livable, and resilient community for future generations.
