He sounds like no one else. But it's not merely that voice. It's the whole soundscape he has constructed around his characters, with the help of many outrageously original musicians.
This week I'm digging deep into the history of Tom's recording and touring careers in an attempt to fathom where he found such wonderful, quirky, genredefying artists with whom to create albums the likes of which we've never heard!
