The extra virgin olive oils hitting our shelves now are made from olives pressed in late 2022 from growing regions in the Northern Hemisphere. We follow olive seasons around the globe, just as we do with fresh produce, to bring in the freshest olive oils available! These are full of healthy antioxidants, such as polyphenols and oleocanthal, an inflammatory property that gives olive oil it's peppery sensation. Some of the California olive oils we have in now include the popular Arbequina, Arbosana and Mission. We also have in some oils from Sicily and Italy, including Nocellara, one of our specialty food buyer's favorite oils this season!
