In 1976 Ford invested 700 million dollars on a project to develop their own small truck. One that would not be subject to a tariff and could help Ford meet or exceed the upcoming 1985 CAFÉ standard. The result of this project was the Ford Ranger. In today’s video we cover the entire First generation of what was to become America’s best selling small pickup Truck.
