After weeks of protests, Citizens for Sankey organized a panel discussion on the Sankey Road Flyover Project on 31st January 2023 at the Canara Union in Malleshwaram. This flyover and road widening project was originally conceived in 2011, then put on hold due to legal issues, and later reintroduced by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) in 2023.

Moderated by theatre artist, filmmaker and activist Prakash Belawadi, the panel saw Dr. Ashish Verma (IISc), B.S. Prahalad (BBMP), Harish Narsappa (advocate), Shaheen Shasa (bus transport expert) and Ravindra Reshme (local citizen) discuss details about the project. The event was attended by over 200 people from across the city.
