Newstapa interviewed the bereaved family of 'Stine Roalkvam Evensen', who lost her life in the 'Itaewon disaster' a year ago. Stine was 20 years old at the time of the disaster. And she is the only Norwegian national among the victims of the Itaewon disaster.

For a year after the disater, the family has been left with no medical support or information. The Korean Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are in charge of providing support to foreign bereaved families, but in reality, both ministries have been sitting on their hands.

On October 29, the first anniversary of the Itaewon disaster, Stine's family visited Korea for the first time since the disaster. They shared their grief with other Korean bereaved families. Stine's parents asked the Korean government to "find the truth. I want to know what happened that night a year ago."
