It's summer, 1938. Two years ago, one of New York City's finest detectives put Ed Harris away for murder. However, the crime boss escaped from prison a few days ago and he is the leading suspect in a recent homicide. With the police hunting for him and the detective doing his best to track down the killer, no one suspects that Ed Harris' fingerprint card holds a sinister secret.
