When the Ford F150 Lightning launched last year, it promised to be the first electric pickup truck that was, in at least some trim variants, designed for work first and foremost without breaking the bank.

But multiple price hikes over the last year has placed it out of reach for many buyers.

Earlier this week, Ford announced price cuts across the F150 Lighting family that reduce MSRPs by as much as nearly $10,000. But does this make the F150 Lightning a bargain or not?
