Let There Be FLIGHT The Extraordinary BIRDS OF INDIA | Planet Earth II & Hans Zimmer Tribute

With India having tremendously rich and varied habitats and ecosystems, it’s no surprise that the second most populous country in the world is also home to a plethora of avian diversity. According to Avibase (an online taxonomic database that organizes bird taxonomic and distribution data globally), there are 1,364 known species of resident and migratory birds that make up India’s great natural wealth.

In this short montage video that I filmed over the last 2 and a half years, I’ll take you into the forests, grasslands, wetlands, deserts and shores, and bring you some of the most breathtaking species that are out there.

From acts of courtship, to building nests, raising young ones and continuing life’s extraordinary journey, here’s bringing you an intimate glimpse into some of the birds of India.
