Well, we made it back safe and sound to our home at BLM from a glorious season in the Bahamas. It was a great time with some awesome things and some not so awesome things. But the awesome things were way more!

Now, that we've been home a couple of months, we've buttoned up the boat with intentions of NOT spending the summer on AliCat. What? Yeap, you read right.....

We have cleaned and waxed her all up pretty, took off her sails, and secured her to be left alone! We've spent three summers bearing the brutal South Georgia summer heat on this boat and that is enough! It's just too hot to sit on a small boat in a marina in South Georgia in the summer time. And it's just too hot to enjoy sailing her. Too hot for me and Dave, maybe not too hot for you, so please don't criticize. I've had heat exhaustion and I'm very sensitive to the high temps.

So, we will come and go from Brunswick, we just won't stay here "permanently" all summer long. There are going to be other adventures this summer!
