Life On Mars is my favorite LEGO Space theme. Unfortunately, it contributed to the end of LEGO Factions, which were the building blocks of LEGO Space in the 90's. In this video, we explore the impact of factions and how they eventually disappeared. Also, we get to build the phenomenal 7314 Recon Mech from L.o.M.!

Also: I didn't really get to talk about it in the vid but the Mech is actually one of the coolest sets I have. Its surprisingly big, has smooth mechanisms, and a really nice color scheme and fig. Worth checking out if you can get your hands on one...
