In this video I show the installation of plasti dip and vinyl wrap side by side on the same set of wheels.

Pros of plasti dip:
1. Easy install user friendly. ( anyone can spray )
2. More freedom on complex shapes.
3. Will "wrap" all channels and openings where vinyl wouldnt reach.
4. It is cheaper and requires no tools ( blades, heat gun etc..)

Cons VS vinyl wrap:
1. Plastidip overspray. Not fun.
2. Removal is tedious. Rims require removal to rub off overspray in inner wheel wells. This takes longer than the entire installation process.
3. Plasti dip maintenance and cleaning is very difficult and it tends to absorb dirt and grime easily.

Pros of Vinyl wrap:
1. Quick, clean and chemical free install.
2. Super easy to clean and can be treated like paint.
3. More possibilities in finishes and textures (candy, gloss, carbon, brushed metal and more). Will give a custom painted look.
4. Removal in a couple minutes.
5. Longevity up to 5 years..
6. Will withstand removing and mounting tires.

Cons of vinyl wrap:
1. Limited to a "surface" wrap. Most of the time it will be dual tone finish. If channels and inner wells were wrapped, it can take a up to 10 hours of work, however it would look painted ( probably cheaper to have a rim powder coated.
2. More expensive than plastidip.
3. Limited to simple designs.
4. Mistakes are costly.
