This second part is devoted to the race against time that began the day after the first attack in 1993. It also explores the great mystery of 2001: more than a year before the attacks, the CIA was monitoring two of the wouldbe hijackers who were planning to travel to the United States and worked to hide this information from the FBI. The film reconstructs, element by element, the puzzle of the hunt for AlQaeda, highlighting the missed opportunities which, like a fatal spiral, led inevitably to the tragic morning of 2001.
