Today we’re continuing to theorise what it would be like if there was a tenth shifter in Attack on Titan, in particular one that could rival the COLOSSAL TITAN in terms of destructive power. Although the two of them would be massively different in size, this 10th titan would have abilities that would put them in virtually the same league, at the very least it’d be a closer matchup compared to the attack titan.

Ok so in order to explain this shifter, the first thing we need to do is flash back to chapter 112 of the attack on titan manga. Up until that chapter we knew that the paths connect all eldians could be used to transfer various things including memories, but in this conversation Eren revealed something else. According to him, Ackermans who’ve awakened their potential are able to inherit the battle experience of their ancestors. Inheriting that experience is presumably what makes them so skilful in pretty much everything they attempt and its a trait than none of the 9 titans posses. This info was the starting point for creating this new shifter, cause if a titan could directly inherit experience like that then it would instantly change a lot of things. As an example, if Marley had this titan then then my guess is they’d start looking for eldians like Mr Leonhart, who come from different parts of the world and are skilled in certain fighting techniques. Kiyomi made it pretty clear that eldians exist in virtually all corners of the globe, so with Marley’s resources, they could find eldians skilled in everything from regular boxing to sumo wrestling. In that way every new user of the shifter would bring their own specific style which would then be added to by the next person, until eventually you end up with this invincible machine that just can’t be beaten in hand to hand combat. This bring us to it’s next unique ability, which is that the Blast titan’s physical strength will continue to grow during the 13 years the user possess it. What this means is that when a person first inherits this shifter, they’ll have a base level of power not much stronger than the beast titan, but as the months years go on, it’s strength will progressively keep increasing. The speed at which it increases varies depending on how active the user is, but generally speaking this shifter will start to reach its peak at around 9 years old. By that point it should be able to jump over 60 metres high and would be able to knock down the colossal titan if they put absolutely everything into that punch. In addition to that it could easily sail over the 3 walls on Paradis, which brings us nicely to what its signature move would be. When designing this titan I wanted it to have a finishing move comparable to Armin’s explosion or Zeke’s pitching assault and in simple terms, this signature attack starts with the Blast titan launching itself 60 to 70 metres in the air. Then after curling up into a ball, the 18 metre titan crashes down into its target. This target could be another titan in which case that shifter would almost instantly be killed by the impact or alternatively the target might just be the ground itself, as this would create a shockwave strong enough to wipe out an entire town.
